1. Agreement
By accessing or using byte8.io and its associated products (Pulsar, Orbit, Horizon, Cargoman), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services. These services are provided by Byte8 Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales (company number 16334175, VAT number GB520427624), with its registered office at 80-83 Long Lane, London EC1A 9ET, United Kingdom.
2. Account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Subscriptions and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Prices are displayed excluding VAT unless otherwise stated. You may cancel at any time — access continues until the end of the billing period. Refunds are available within 14 days of initial purchase if you have not used the service substantially. Contact [email protected] for refund requests.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to: Use our services for any illegal purpose. Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code. Overload infrastructure with automated requests beyond documented API limits. Share account credentials or resell access without authorisation. Use Pulsar to monitor websites you do not own or operate.
5. Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime across all products. Scheduled maintenance windows are announced in advance via the changelog and status page. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.
6. Intellectual property
All Byte8 products, documentation, and branding are owned by Byte8 Ltd. Your data remains yours — we claim no ownership of content you store or process through our services.
7. Limitation of liability
Byte8 Ltd liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
